Lake Limestone covers 12,553 acres with 98 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 43 feet. The towns of Groesbeck, Personville, Buffalo, Jewitt, Marquez, Koss, and Thornton, Texas, surround Lake Limestone clockwise from the northwestern border.
